Some of the first visitors we welcomed to the farm over 30 years ago were school field trips! Educational tours continue to be one of our favorite parts of the farm, and we welcome school children of all ages, as well as homeschool and child care groups!

Butterfly Release Day
August 10th, 2024!
Come see the fields a-flutter and release a butterfly into the sunflower blooms!
We love (and need!) our pollinators here on the farm, so come help us release butterflies in the field and enjoy the beautiful sunflowers! This is a great opportunity to learn about pollinators, and get a cool photo op!
You will receive a butterfly snuggled up in an envelope, ready for you to release into the wild and watch flutter away.
Resurgence Brewing and Blackbird Cider will also be on the farm for Butterfly Release Day, those 21+ can cool down with an ice cold beverage. Ice cream, BBQ, and other food and beverage options available.
The farm is open 10am-4pm, and Butterflies will be available to release from 11am-2pm. Admission or a season pass is required to visit the farm and sunflower fields, butterflies are an additional cost ($7). You are welcome to visit the event during butterfly release even if you do not have your own butterfly released, all farm activities will be open.
In case of heavy, all day rain, the rain date is Sunday, August 11. However, we will do everything we can to stick to the original date, as that's best for the butterflies!

This class will be a Vinyasa Yoga, which is a slower pace, and great for those with little or no experience (or those who want to maximize the GOAT part of the yoga!). Ashley will include poses that invite the baby goats to climb all over you, not that this bunch of babies needs much invitation to do that!
