Kelkenberg Farm of Clarence is a family operated farm that offers fun farm visits, educational farm tours, and large group events for all ages, year round!

We have been welcoming visitors to our operational horse, livestock, and pumpkin farm since 1980, when the Kelkenberg Family first opened their farm to the public.

There is fun for every season of the year!

All visits to the farm
include interactive
visiting and petting
all of our animals,
pony rides for children,
a hayride around
the farm, and many
other farm activities!

We’ve continued to update our food offerings on the farm! In addition to the pies, cookies, and donuts our visitors know and love, the farm grill is open during all open hours, we have DELICIOUS soft serve ice cream, and slow-smoked pork specials!

Hug and hold the baby animals in the spring, and join us for our Egg Hunt or Mother’s Day events!

Get fresh air all summer long, and take beautiful photos in the sunflower blooms during our annual Sunflower Field Days!

Make Kelkenberg Farm your fall tradition, and visit for pumpkin picking, fresh apple cider, hot donuts, and more!

Kelkenberg Farm is a wonderful place for kids to have fun and learn at the same time.

Check HERE or Facebook for our latest hours and details to plan your spectacular visit to the farm!

Some of the first visitors we welcomed to the farm over 30 years ago were school field trips! Educational tours continue to be one of our favorite parts of the farm, and we welcome school children of all ages, as well as homeschool and child care groups!

Experience what life is like
living on the farm.

Learn why pigs are the
cleanest animal on the
farm, and why a donkey
makes a better guard than the dog!

Feel the difference between
a sheep’s wooly coat and the
hair on a goat.

Meet the farmers themselves,
Patrick, Charlene, and their family!

We are constantly adding new things for visitors to interact with, and can’t wait for you to visit!

Mother’s Day Down on the Farm

May 11-12, 2024

One of our favorite events, benefiting the Veteran’s One Stop Center of WNY! Bring Mom, Grandma, and the whole family out to come enjoy the farm! We have plenty of our own moms, with baby goats, sheep, chicks, bunnies, and many other moms and babies running around the farm this time of year! This event is volunteer supported, and proceeds go to charity. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended, tickets available at the door while capacity permits.

Sunflower Field Days

August 2024!

The most colorful season on the farm! Our sunflower fields typically begin blooming in Late July-August (depending on the weather), and we invite you to come enjoy all the beautiful color, photo-ops, and farm fun!

Admission is required to enter the sunflower field, and also includes visiting the animals, pony rides for children, and a hayride back to the sunflower field where you have the option to cut your own flowers to take home!

Butterfly Release Day

See the fields a-flutter and come release your butterfly into the blooms!

August 10th, 2024

Join us for an evening of watching the sun go down in the sunflowers to raise funds and awareness for the "Shine Gold" Pediatric Cancer initiative.  Proceeds to benefit Sophia the Fierce Inc., Kevin Guest House, the Matthew Foster Foundation, and Kaely's Kindness.

In addition to the usual farm fun, we will have u-cut sunflowers, tastings from local distilleries, live acoustic music, bbq and a corn roast, a raffle, and MORE!  Season Pass holders receive complementary admission to this special event, although donations are appreciated.  For all others, admission is required for this event.

Fall Pumpkin Fun

2024 Pumpkin Picking begins Sept. 14th!

There isn’t another time on the farm when we have more going on! Come get in on all of the fall fun, with pumpkin picking from our HUGE patch, horse drawn hayrides, pony rides for children, visiting with ALL of the farm animals, and many many more activities included with admission! See our FALL FUN page for more info! Admission is required to enter the barnyard and includes a pumpkin from the patch. Admission is not required to shop the farm market. The farm does reach capacity on peak weekends, pre-reserving tickets is highly recommended to make sure you have a spot!
